Current research studies point to the value of regular homework as part of the instructional progra.  To secure these benefits of regular homework, the following guidelines have been established by our Board of Eduction:

Grade            Time Allocation

6-8                 6-8 hours per week

Students taking advanced classes for high school credit will be required to spend more time due to the nature of these classes.

Make-up work for students who are absent needs to be taken care of with the appropriate teacher.  Generally, students are allowed one day to make up missed work for each day they are absent.
